This whole cancel culture and pc bs is out of hand. I couldn't care less what that particular restaurant chain does or doesn't do because I ain't eating there before or after there change. Its the nastiest worst restaurant here in town by far.

We don't have Big Boy Restaurants in TN. A big lawsuit between Shoneys (which started out as a Big Boy franchise) and Big Boy back in the '80s. They divided up territories. They even litigated over the Thousand Island Dressing recipe.

Well it doesn't work. The article said they are making Wendy a little older and dropping the slogan "old fashioned hamburgers".

Dave Thomas got his start in Knoxville. He started in the Restaurant Business by working at Regas.
Wendy's Co. is sticking with red pigtails with its new logo, but the freckled little girl looks slightly older, and will no longer preside over the slogan "Old Fashioned Hamburgers."
The more modern, simplified version of its young girl mascot and the lettering around her marks the first change to Wendy's logo in nearly 30 years, as the burger and Frosty purveyor hopes to rebrand itself as a higher-quality fast-food chain.
In her new setting, right, Wendy is considered 'more approachable.'

As an interesting note, Colonel Sanders didn't get super-rich when he sold KFC. He refused stock options because he did not understand stock. His secretary ended up with more money than him in the end.
