I can't imagine hugging one of those huge things. I have been finned by the small ones underneath the fingernail. As your heart pumps, the pain intensifies with each beat. Getting finned by a 100 + lb catfish would be like a stab wound.
I am glad that they let they released the fish. I wonder how old the catfish were?
