Hey this past weekend not far from us there were terenchal rains (10-12 inches) We past over the little blue river in Fairbury, Nebraska and it was almost up to the railroad tracks. What's the most water you guys and gals have ever seen?

Our largest rain this spring was 5.5 inches in one night. Filled up our water tanks. Some friends about five miles away got about two inches the night we got the 5.5. Weird. It's hard for me to complain about rain at anytime, but some places have sure been damaged in the last few days by too much rain.

There were people killed in a small town close to Fairbury, when a tornado went through, Deshler or something like that. That same night, Lincoln, NE got 3 inches in 45 minutes -- don't know what the overnight total was. Luckily, we're on top of a hill so it runs off real well and we don't have to worry about flash flooding -- of course, for the people down in the bottom, it's another story.
