Well I have my 5 cows but I would like to know when would be best time to breed them. I dont think I want them being born in middle of summer just in case next year is a hot one here. This year hasnt been bad at all luckily. So when should I breed them to have them calve in about late August or September?
Also what do you think about these bulls for breeding my 3 herefords and two angus? I will keep some heirfords But will butcher and sell all bulls as steers. Thanks for the advice.

1. Baldridge Nebraska 901 Angus http://beef.semexusa.com/angus/angus.asp?Recid=16

2. CCR Sleep Easy 301J5 Brangus http://www.ultimategenetics.com/

or maybe this Santa Gertrudis though I know nothing of this breed.

3. SCC Grid Maker 820 P Santa Gertrudis http://www.ultimategenetics.com/

Breed them nov. 22 for a sept 1st calf. the sleep easy bull is throwing some very good momma cows. so if thats what you want i would do with him now if you wanted to sell them at weaning i would a.i. to a bull named tjm johnwayne 44l he has very explosive growth numbers but has a high birtweight epd

I used Baldridge Nebraska on my heifers this year and look foward to calves in October.

Roughly 9 months prior to your desired calving date.
