does anyone feed bermuda grass? will it grow in indiana?

Bermuda will grow in Indiana. My grandparents had it in their yard, and it popped the stucco of the foundation with runners. Whether it will produce enough to be a viable forage is the real question. It goes dormant as soon as it gets cold, but it should like our summers.

Forage bermuda is different animal then the accursed lawn varietys. Around here even on the same farm, some places the bermuda will persist in the worst winters and other spots it dies out if given any provocation at all.

we had bermuda grow through our plastic wrapped haylage rolls. keep one eye open when you sleep...
