Belties.....

A friend of wants to sell a pregnat belted galloway and a beltie heifer for six hundred dollars. The cow is about seven years old and the heifer is about six months old. I dont really need any more right now but I could support them easily. My question is how many more good years could I expect from the cow? she is proven to calf good every year and take care of her young. Should I jump on this deal like I think I should. They arent reg. but they are really nice looking belties. Any thoughts?

From what I've been reading lately Galloway cows will produce calves into their late teens.
