Beginning Rancher Educational Program

Help Support CattleToday:

I went to something similar put on by Auburn recently. There was good info there. And i got a certificate

I went to the one they give at Overton a few years back. Some of the best info was from the other participants and the things that they screwed up and the mistakes they made. A lot of the things they want you to do though are cost prohibitive to a beginner.

That is the best part of the whole program.
Listen to the theory and get to hear what happened in the real world.
I like when the panel of speakers take questions from the group as well.
Someone will ask one of those Ah Ha questions and the light bulb flickers why haven't I thought of that.
GB and I were talking about going to one this fall last night.
I haven't attended a workshop yet that I haven't learned something I need to do or don't try.
Maybe I am just easily entertained.
