I haven't posted much since I joined the bored earlier in the year. I just wanted to share what I think is exciting news for new cattle owner. We found out a couple days ago that 2 of our 3 Angus heifers we raised from calves are pregnant from the Hereford bull we also raised from a calf. The bull is just over a year old, so I was worried if he could get the job done. The vet wasn't too worried about the 3rd not being bred yet, he thinks its just the bull being young. he said to give her a couple more months and he will check her again.

Here is a pic of the bull when he was younger. I will try to get a more recent pic.

:welcome: I'd call him freckles glad your enjoying raising cattle . You should have no problems birthing but be ready just in case. :welcome:

Good on ya.....and good luck with the calves. Are you going to keep him once the heifers are bred or ship him.
