Ingredients

1 - cup butter
2 - cups all purpose flower
8 - cups hot chicken broth
3 - cups heavy cream
2 - 15oz cheese whiz
2 - tablespoons worchester sauce
1 - case favorite beer (2 for soup / 10 to drink)
2 - red potato (cut into small pieces)
3 - white sweet onions (cut into small pieces)
3 - carrots (cut into small pieces)
2 - stalks celery (cut into small pieces)
1/2 - cup chives

Cooking Instructions

Saute potato, onion, carrot, celery in frying pan until softened. Melt butter in heavy pot, add in flour and whisk until smooth (this will be very thick). Add in hot broth and worchester sauce, stir until smooth. Add in cream and stir until smooth.

Transfer this mixture to crock pot set on low.

Add in sauted vegetables and cheeze whiz and stir. Add in 2 beers and stir (beer will foam a lot when added).

Cook on low heat, stirring occasionally, for 4 hours. When ready, mix in chives and serve.

Granny this sounds like my kind of dish....And if you're really in a hurry you just slam down the two beers and forget the soup.
