Has anyone taken these classes from the University of Nebraska extension? I took the first one a few years ago,was thinking about another one this winter. The first one was real good,any opinions on the others? Thanks-Chuck
They are called Beef Cattle Basics. It is a series of 6 or 7 classes that you take at home. You do the work for each chapter,then take a test and mail it in to be graded. Some of the material is really basic,but I still learned a lot from it. I think they have raised the price to $55.00 now,but that includes the binder with the class in it,even came with stamped envelopes. You can also call or e-mail the instructors with questions. Pretty cheap for the amount of info that was in it. I still refer to the book pretty often.
