Beautiful Rain here at our place in Australia.

Last night in a series of non violent storms we had a beautiful fall of 53 mls ( 4 times that figure gives you the inches equivalent) over 2 inches.
The gullies and creeks are running a bit. The cattle all look clean. Stacks of green grass about and it hopefully will only get better. The storms dropped anywhere from 17 mls to 64 mls over our high country tableland region. It extended to just to the north of us into the cropping areas,which will help them a lot. Still spitting rain,I'd say it will clear up a bit for the forecast storms again later today.

Yeah Colin...but it's spring time down there. Our rain is starting to stick to things...all the mountains around us are white.
