Beating the dead horse

From 4/1 to 6/1 I have received 55".
A guy I know nine miles south has been blessed with 60" in the same time frame.

I'm not going to complain about the rain.

The last few months have been challenging to say the least on this old man. I have repaired more fence and cut up more trees than I did in hurricane Rita.
I have never seen our county roads in such bad condition.
I live two miles from the paved FM take fifteen to thirty minutes to travel that two miles.

There will be a grown-up mess for the hogs to hide in for sure. Hope you get some relief, but still, plenty of rain the rest of the year.

Ya has been raining here daily 6.'75 inches since Thursday you'll sink 2 foot if we go into the garden
