I just did my first four quarts of green beans in the pressure cooker. When I took the jars out, a few of the beans were sticking out of the liquid. Will these still keep even though they aren't submerged? Thanks, Boone

Not a problem. I was told the reason for this is that the canner has sterilized the contents of there won't be a problem. If you think about it, this makes sense cause if the air space was "polluted" then this pollution wouldn't stop at the water line. Make sense?

My main concern is the seal. If its sealed when you open it you are in good shape.

Did you add any salt? If not, next time add a teaspoon of salt to each container and they will be better.

Thanks. This morning the water level is even lower, but the seal is tight. Boone
