I was crappie fishing and caught this one on a little crappie jig. I'd guess probably a 5-6# fish

I bought a big #11 Rapala, and some 16" jelly worms, big bait big fish. I caught a bass smaller than the baits that I use. I really stink at this, but my patience is running thin. I have a 4 7/8 mesh gill net and a 16' cast net in the shed, and I'm getting ready to mess some fish up. If I could find someone to donate the fish to, I'd kill a hundred pounds off in one throw.
Nice bass Bob , I'll have to cheat to ever catch one that big.

That looks like a Florida strain bass the way it is short and chunky. Was your pond stocked? Either way she is plenty healthy.

Yes that's what I stocked in March of 2016
They have really grown fast
