Hi,

I've been having a debate with a friend of mine. We both grew up in small towns but not on farms. The debate is over how much time a bull spends in a bull barn, and generally over the whole idea of a bull barn. My friend thinks bulls are out in the pasture roaming around wherever they want, and I say they're in a paddock attached to the bull barn.

Thanks sincerely,

Sam

You're both right depending on the bull and the circumstances - AI/high dollar show bulls are usually in a paddock attached to a shed or possibly barn, non-show bulls are usually in a pasture with the other herd and back-up bulls or in a pen when they are not with the girls.
