Barn stored vs. net wrapped

We have the same problem, except it is with hot-wire rods. Every time I turn around there is another one sticking out of the ground somewhere. :roll: Found about a 1/2 dozen in the corrals, just barely sticking out of the dirt. I'm amazed nothing stepped on them and messed up a foot.

On one of the places I lease, the previous occupant never removed the plastic strings when he sat out rolls. There's an area about 200' square with those thing partially buried. Can't pull them by hand, tried a yard rake, front end loader and nothing seems to work. I brought the bush hog home from that place tonight, has a bushel basket of orange rope on the spindle now. Any ideas on how to rid the field of that crap?

If you figure out a way let me know. This place has the stuff popping up all over the place also. When I find it I pull it till I can;t get anumore above gorund then cut it at ground level. In another 1000 years I may finally get rid of all of it.
