Around here a "white face" is usually a Hereford. Some will ask if it has feathers which would be the distinction.
A Baldy is usually a black baldy. If the body color is not black they will call it a buckskin baldy, yellow baldy or some other color.
Blotches on the face are called motley.
A red hide with a motley face (no feathers) is referred to as a Star 5, though a Star 5 is really a Gert/Hereford cross.
A red hided motley with out feathers is often called a Fancy calf. The distinction being an intentional cross for hybrid vigor.
Go three counties over or a different sale barn and the term may change. I just nod and roll with it.
