Well to balance things out six new calves today and 9 in the last 36 hours.

I am enjoying the best weather for calving in some years.

Sorry Jovid that you lost a couple unfortunaly sh** happens to us all.

Sorry for your loss. Nice to see someone brought back down to mother earth though.

Excuse me? Maybe I missed a post or two, but I don't recall seeing anything that Jovid posted that warrants this type of comment. Please explain. Thank you.

So sorry to hear of your misfortune Jovid.

We lost a nice red heifer newborn (out of Blockbuster) as it was a cold night and momma calved by the creek. Calf ended up in the creek and drowned. The commercial cows crossed with Buster have thrown some really nice calves and I am anxiously awaiting for some of the red polls to start having Buster calves (due within the next 30 days).

It's never any fun to lose a calf or a cow.
