very sweet, thanks for the update and glad he's doing well. Tell his folks to watch out this fall/winter for RSV (respiratory syncytial (pronounced sin-sish-ul) virus). http://handtohold.org/resources/helpful ... s-to-know/
It's very common in preemies their first winter and can pack a wallop (from experience).

I'll pass that along to them. Thank you.

I showed this to my daughter-in-law, and he had the vaccine for it this past week. Thanks again.

You're welcome! Glad to hear they have a vaccine for it now. Our little guy went into seizures when he got the virus (he had problems regulating his temp when he got sick. He could go from normal to 104.5 in a couple minutes. I didn't sleep much! Just had the thermometer on him around the clock!

Congrats and I agree there is nothing like being a Grandma. He is beautiful and probably be out playing in mud puddles before you know it.

You may be right, but the paternal grandfather has been Papa on the male side of my family for at least 3 generations, so I'd hate to change it now.

The little guy turned 1 Saturday, and is still doing good. Still a little smaller than most boys his age, but otherwise is doing very well. Other than a little cold last winter he hasn't been sick at all. And as you can see he definitely has a good appetite, and enjoyed his party: https://youtu.be/YT6x9SaRnDk.

Hey, he's got the same birthday as my son! Hayes tore his cake up too. First time having sugar that wasn't in juice haha

If I ever have a baby I'm not letting it anywhere near the cake!

I bet he had a great time.

I'm not sure I know of one person who doesn't have those baby+cake pictures and they are classic.
Won't find a picture of me as a baby like that (I wasn't very fun to take pictures of  )
