When using automatic syringes where you attach the bottle directly to the gun or by hose, how do you keep the vaccines from getting to warm? I am referring to vaccines that need to stay refrigerated. It looks to me that using a bottle for 50 cows like most come in that they are going to be warm for a good while if takes 2 or 3 hrs to work the animals on a warm day.

My wife suggests to hang up a zipper type soft ice chest with the hoses going out the zipper. This would work but how about with the guns where the small bottle attaches directly?

How do ya'll do it?

Thanks in advance.

i try to use only doses of 10 but occasionally with blackleg or something they will be in 50s i have a zippered cooler keep an ice pack in it just lay it back in there after each cow but i dont zip it just fold the lid over
