Had a good time this afternoon. Drove to Montgomery Stockyards for the World Livestock Auctioneer Championship quarterfinals. Pretty fun to see all those guys - in what seemed to be quite a range of ages. I didn't get there for all of it, so I missed the top two guys, but a guy from Montgomery county was third. Last year's world champ was there and sold several head while the scores were tallied. Even for somebody who didn't know exactly what was going on, it was a pretty good time!

The guy who normally sells here was there competing. Do you remember anyone from Tazewell, TN? Just wondering how he did.

Sorry KT, I don't remember if he was a finalist or not. I can tell you that the 1st and 2nd place guys were from Oklahoma, and they sold their drafts before I got there. Here's the link to LMA's press releases, so maybe by the morning they'll have the names posted.
