How do you feel about a cashless society? I imagine most Americans are be against it seeing as you value and understand freedom better than most.
My kids never carry cash even though I have told them repeatedly to squirrel away a couple of hundred dollars in case of emergency.I don't think there will be as much resistance as you think, especially from the younger generation. I know my children (27 and 32) rarely carry cash.
I, on the other hand, feel vaguely uncomfortable if I don't have cash on me, but there are so few places that won't take my debit card that I really don't know why. Maybe because I just prefer using cash for smaller purchases.
So far the only place I've run into that won't take cash is the bowling alley.
I know what you mean, cash is not always convenient but from the video I linked it looks as if they want to phase out debit cards as well though and get us to pay using our smart phones, something people buy willingly those little locator tracking devices we carry in our pockets so every transaction and movement we make can be logged, stored and tracked in real time, something Orwell never even foresaw. I'm actually planning to ditch the cell phone. I don't much appreciate being forced to have one.I know what you mean, cash is not always convenient but from the video I linked it looks as if they want to phase out debit cards as well though and get us to pay using our smart phones, something people buy willingly those little locator tracking devices we carry in our pockets so every transaction and movement we make can be logged, stored and tracked in real time, something Orwell never even foresaw. My Mom used to tell us "make sure you always have at least a dollar on you so you can't get arrested for vagrancy"My kids never carry cash even though I have told them repeatedly to squirrel away a couple of hundred dollars in case of emergency.
Cashless Society....I want to go beyond THAT where we EVOLVE to "work for the greater good"...basically we work for free and we have everything we need...literally we can work where we want and have all our needs meet. Where House Cleaners and Doctors are all treated the same...as equals.
Imagine a world where you get to wake up and work for humanity to help others...you or I can live on a huge cattle ranch and care for cattle for free be the steward for the land and animals that feed humanity. A place where all your needs are met...you don't lack...and everyone cares about everyone else equally. No hunger, sickness, war erased. Yes, we'd have to serve a few years of our lives as worker-bees doing the grunt work...but after that you'd be free to do whatever you wanted job/training wise in any field you wanted- accepted unconditionally.
Well, sounds too good to be true? It's not...let me take you on a journey...this all was written about in 1924 when they didn't have advanced technology....listen carefully, listen two times...if you're "aware" and understand that time is not linear....and are "aware" of how the future would be and look like....and are "aware" of our deeper Divine spiritual humbleness and love for each other....then you will probably realize how significant these writings were in 1921 to 1924. You be the judge...in my heart I know it's true. Humanity is terrible to one another...but hundreds of years out it'll change.
The high school and junior high football games won't take cash and most of the schools around Fort Worth. It is really annoying. You have to go online and buy tickets. What do people do who don't have smartphones ?So far the only place I've run into that won't take cash is the bowling alley.
Makes crime in general more difficult too. Does Bitcoin count as cash? The high school and junior high football games won't take cash and most of the schools around Fort Worth. It is really annoying. You have to go online and buy tickets. What do people do who don't have smartphones ?
My daughter, who is now a teacher/coach, said it was great theft prevention. It started with covid and people not wanting to handle money.
I hate coffee...I figured most people wouldn't see. Once you realize all events in time are happening all at once...that time is not linear....what science has already determined during this century...but wouldn't have known in 1922. You will realize your spirit-your consciousness could actually be transferred to another in that same hospital...either in the past or future. There were technical details in the narrative and the book that were unknown in 1922 and are just becoming known today. It is one of the most intriguing mysteries because it is so accurate. What did you have with your coffee this morning?
