Alex, you really pooped in your nest with this one. I just looked at your poll on the other page about reopening the border-68% of the people who voted supported your position. Are you now trying to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory? You have written about helping your neighbors and getting along,so what is it in this post that advances that idea? There is a lot of knowledge and experience on this board available free for the asking. Sadly for you, when you post garbage like this, you cut off your access to people who can help you learn. Now, instead of a young man who wants to learn and work together you just sound like a whiner.

I just had to give that little piece of work a " " and let it go. Don't they have some saying about how @#%$ floats, or something like that? I will keep on singing...

"And I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free; and I won't forget the men who died who gave that right to me. & I'll gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today, cuz there ain't no doubt I love this land. God bless the USA"

There's a lot of filth and corruption in the land, but the heart of America still beats strong, fellas!

Somebody must be drinking that stuff.

I guess its just a matter of taste. To me, American beer is for people who like to stay sober and pee alot. :)

I'd have to agree, just noting that gazillions of people DO drink it. I had to quit. Got tired of looking for a tree to pee on.

I find it interesting to see what some people think when a leader is elected who has the moral fortitude to stand up for thier beliefs. My guess is that if Clinton had still been in office on 9/11 we would still be trying to make friends with all the terrorist and would be in the process of learning to speak arabic.

Bush did win both elections - even after two recounts of Florida in the first election.

Bush showed his fortitude as Governor at least twice to the national pressure when at one time Mad-lynn Not-all-bright told him to pardon a death row inmate who was about to be executed. He told her to stay out of Texas's business. And another time when the federal highway people told him to lower our speed limits or they would cut off our funds. He just told them that he would quit sending them any money. They quickly shut-up.

And think about this - if the U.S. wouldn't have liberated the French, we know that the French would be speaking German, and since Canada is a colony of France - what language would you now be speaking?

Some leaders are in office to try to do a good job - others are in office just for the power and prestiege and fun with blue dresses!

That's not how I remember it, I was living/working in Texas at that time. Texas did lower the speed limits for awhile when the federal funds were about to be cut off. They raised them back up later.

;-)

Since when is Canada a colony of France? You better go back and study your Canadian history again.

Let's be careful not to include Canadians with backbone-and surely there are plenty- in with the liberal bunch. We all know how many of those we have right here in our own great country.

I am sorry that it offended anyone, but I had got it as a joke, and I intended it to be. I am still growing up and take some nasty stuff, and i did not want to harm anyone. I am sorry, if i offended you. I got it as a joke from a friend. Also my FRIEND"S name is alex, not mine.

Allright you get a fresh start use it wisely. apology accepted.

Didn't seem like much of a joke, but apologies always accepted because I have to do it every now and then too. Just make sure you don't shower with your cows anymore.

I knew it the whole time. I really wish I had not gotten mad. Should not let little kids do that. On the other hand you might in the future use alittle more tacked. Especially when you start bringing up things such as Hitler. I accept your apology.

Scotty

PS. Still you need to stay out of my country.

I too will apologize if I offended, but it does get old hearing everybody bash Bush and the things he has tried to do.

I, for one, don't accept your apology. The fact that you thought this joke was funny enough to post it tells me a great deal about you and your ideals. Canada recently seems to have taken a lesson from the French who want all the support and benefits the USA has to offer, but when it comes time to stand up and be counted with us, they're nowhere to be found. Correction, they side in withose against us.

You want our borders open so you can sell us your cattle! They can rot in Canada if this is the typical of attitude of the Canadian rancher.

I will give you another chance too. With a piece of advice. If Alex is really your "friends" name and not yours,he should register under his own name instead of signing his name to your posts.
Why wont America open their border to Canadian beef? Isn't it the same?.....Alex

If I were canadian I would crawl across the border and beg for asylum.

I will apologize for alot of things but I won't apologize for being a Canadian. The point about the Americans not joining World War 2 until they were attacked is a valid one. I may disagree with not joining the war in Iraq but it is Canada's decision to make just as not joining World War 2 was America's decision to make back then. Don't go painting us all as liberals either. You have your share of socialists on your side of the border as well. Your culture has produced Jerry Springer, Howard Stern and Hillary Clinton. Also, you have a large number of people in your country that don't like Bush as well. Some of them enough that they were threatening to leave if he got elected. As much as our little county has its problems, I am Canadian and proud of it.
