Just wondering if anyone has experince with both of these clover and which one you liked the best and why.
I have both and first year the Apache seemed to do better, but second year looks like Durana is going to out do Apache.
Like to hear pros and cons to both.
I am in north east Texas.

Proverbs, may PH runs between 5.9 to 6.3
What I have noticed is Apache grows taller and has wider leaves, where the Durana has smaller leaves and grows closer to the ground but seems to to be thicker. Durana also seems to stay green longer this year.
Also Durana seemed to come back better this year than the Apache did.
Thanks

You have described the characteristics of the two clovers. Apache is an arrowleaf clover that was bred for virus resistance. It was meant to take the palce of Yucchi that was lost out in many places in East Texas due to a virus. Duranna is a white clover much like LA S-1. Grows well in bottom land soils, stays greener into the summer (I have seen it in July in a sub-irrigated bottom) and is not as up right.
