Anything to do between Wichita and Ft. Worth?

We're going to the wife's sister in Kansas tomorrow. Thinking about a road trip to the Stockyards in Ft. Worth on Tuesday or Wednesday. Is there anything that we need to see between Wichita and Ft. Worth, or anywhere we don't want to miss at dinnertime? Thanks in advance!

Actually we're going to Alva OK. Tragic but interesting story on that one. The wife's grandma has always wanted to go but due to health will never make the trip.

Her uncle Orin moved to Alva as a young man looking for work. He found it at the Antler Cafe. He was brutally murdered in a robbery while closing up one night. This was before grandmas time but she's wanted to go and see the area so we're going for her.

Not much to see on that route. The Little Sahara south of Waynoka which is more or less south of Alva. If you come through Seiling stop and say hi, I work at the Phillips 66 on main street until mid afternoon most days, ask for Allen.

My wife used to be in the rodeos a few years back there, pretty much bars and restaurants. There is some museums that are covering the days of the ole stock yard. Neat place to visit
