I use the sea salt but not very often. It is packed with minerals. I was concerned about the sodium chloride. I'm not sure of its effects long term. There are some products that have the sodium chloride removed. But if you are just starting out I would go ahead and use it. You will see a positive difference. Several books on its use with research going back into the 50's. I would use the fish as well. The key is to not use the same materials every year for years on end. I say that, but I've been using the same fish product for over 10 years.
