Anybody use Alpha 7 blackleg vaccine?

I was wondering if anybody used the Alpha 7 vaccine for blackleg. Label says it is a one shot vaccine with no booster required. Just wondering if anybody had any experience with it. Thanks.

That's the only one I use now. I never booster it. It will also give you the worst injection site reactions of any that I have ever used. Some of the knots may never go away. That's not a problem for me, but could be for show or registered sale purposes, I suppose. Stocker/feeder buyers that see those knots just know they've been vaccinated. A good product, in my opinion.

Your correct Texan. I gave a shot to a two year old bull I own in a non bqa location and made a huge knot with hair coming off. Not what I wanted.
