TX, the Dakotas, parts of the SW USA, and other isolated spots around the country see cases of anthrax pretty much on an annual basis. it's historically been in those areas...nothing new, but reportable, just the same, and piques the interest of us easterners.
whether feral hogs are 'spreading' it...idk...
