Thanks GA .Yellow toad flax is toxic to cattle and someone around here said that is what it is but I can't confirm and I really need the county to get their but in gear and spray before it spreads further into my pasture and crop area.
It's not Yellow Toadflax. I think it is a species of wild Buttercup. The bottom plant appears to be the seedhead of yellow Sweetclover. Can you get pics of the leaves?
I think Aaron hit the nail on the head. The sweet clover that grows around here looks very similar to the one pictured on the bottom. And the top one could be volunteer mustard.
