We had the Albury All Breeds Heifer show last night. Successful, but not quite what we expected.

We won:

The under 12 months class with this heifer (Misty)

We had nothing in the 12 - 15 class

We won the 15 - 18 class with this heifer (Bliss)

When it came to the champion we had four out of six animals in the lineup and I thought the cow was a standout, but he gave it to the heifer that won the 18-20 class (a poll hereford). I dont know how to write this without sounding like I'm just a bad sport, because I'm not we had a really successful show, but there was a bit of politics behind it all. Anyway, then the baby heifer won the reserve - not at all what I would have picked.

Anyway, we were most successful exhibitor - and we had a great show.

Congrats Keren! I know what you meant, and from what I've seen of the cow through pics I'm not at all surprised that you expected her to win. Nonetheless well done!
