found this little heifer calf yesterday. hoping to have better luck with her than I did the gray calf that died on me a few weeks ago.

What would cause the white belly on momma and calf? I hate to think holstein, but its the only white on the cow. She's solid black every where else.

Could be anything, I wouldn't worry about it being holstien, she doesn't appear to have any dairy influence

Cow appears to have some brahman blood in her, so there is any amount of possibilities of where the white came from.

Hereford is a good candidate for that as well. Certainly nothing that would bother me
