Angus Question

Help Support CattleToday:

No, Angus cattle are either Black or red, although some white on the underside happens. Cattle that are almost all white would include Speckled Park, or British White. Chianina and Charolais are totally white, but neither of those breeds look like an Angus.

Actually there have been a few cattle born of Black Angus sire and dam that are white with small black spots. This is very rare and they cannot be registered, but my husband has seen them and talked with one breeder who tried to create a herd of them. I will see if I can find the name and some picutres, and give a link.

That could be. I am not farmiliar with Speckle Park. Are they from 100% Angus base?

The cattle you are describing are white Galloway from scotland also. They look similar to the 50's angus.
