One thing I have noticed about sales catelogs, they usually don't show a pic of what is actually for sale, many times there is not even a pic of the dam, they resort to pics three generations back and use all the high dollar figures of sires and dams to sell the product. It's a dead give away something isn't right if you ask me. :lol2:
 
look at the 2 animals on the page.

if that's what you want to see running around the pasture, good luck on your bidding. a little too "modern" for me.
 
The cow in the pic doesn't appear to have the depth of rib that I have heard so many Angus breeders admiring in their breed.

I thought that was the point of his post. Surely the topic of the thread was a joke...
 
I'm sorry, we've got commercial cows with more rib and eye appeal than that "donor". I agree with Aero though: that type of "modern" Angus is not were we want cattle headed.
