I have a question about the Angus Cattle Breed. What are some MAJOR characteristics in this breed? I have a report about Angus and I was and have been raised around only Brahman, Brangus, Tx. Longhorns, and Hereford. Any information you can give me I will greatly appreciate. Thank you all for your help.

Here's a link to the OK State University livestock site. You can get a history of the Angus breed there:

The American Angus Association has much info available at their site:

Some strengths of the Angus breed are fertility (bulls & cows), strong maternal traits, feed efficiency, good carcass qualities. Good luck in your research...
