Got a bull calf 5 days early. He's doing great.

Had a heifer calve last night. The front feet were crossed and one leg was back. I was unable to bring the leg forward, but hubby was able to get it brought forward. Another nice bull calf.

My Jersey heifer calf was acting nutty this morning.

those calves are way to cute.i dont have any cows due for a week or 2 yet.

Suppose to start calving today. Got quite a few cows bagging up and springing.

Had a coyote scare the dickens out of me last night. Was checking the cows and as I was heading back to the house the stupid thing gave a howl. Sounded like the dang thing was just a few feet behind me, but I know it was farther away..
we heard the pack this morning around 10am howling to the west of us.
Hope they stay away from the calves.

Got our 10th calf tonight. Not counting the twins we lost.

Unless something happened overnight that DH didn't tell me about, we are at 35 calves and 33 cows. No major problems yet.
