IMO a VFD should not even be allowed to respond to a petrochemical or chemical facility. They do not have the training or equipped to handle the situations. The facility should have to supply the proper emergency support personnel equipment and training for potential hazards contained on site.
I bet our bunch doesn't even have a level A hazmat suit.
