YES. WE have it in our rotational grazing paddocks for dairy cows, along with Birdsfoot trefoil, red clover, alfalfa, timothy, and brome. We like it. It seems to kick in and provide feed mid-july thru mid Sept here(Northern Wisconsin, USA ), after red clover and alfalfa have done their work.

how many lbs of Alice to the acre in a mix like that.

The last batch I overseeded onto a former alfalfa-brome hayfield, so I went with 6 lb WC, 4 lb TRefoil, 2 lb red clover.
I don't usually plant any grasses, because they come in on there own. That's a little heavy on the WC, but like I said, we like it. It seems to hold longer thru year for us than red clover.
Tryed orchardgrass twice here, never worked for me.
