alfalfa

I be wonderin if anyone ever fed alfalfa to a cow or steer they be gettin ready to butcher, what affect did it have on the meat,(taste, texture, etc) if any?

When we fed mostly alfalfa the meat semed to have a bit of a grass taste, when it was moderated with more grain we couldn;t tell the difference.

Alfalfa is about all we feed...finish with cracked corn and alfalfa
great tasting beef...customers keep buying.
