E W A Peyton has an energy value of -$46.67.
What will it take to feed his steer's in a feedlot? I'm not looking to be argumentative - but
with a negative value like that wouldn't more feed or a higher quality feed be required to meet growth potential?
He sure fits my definition of terminal.
That's a good question.
$EN -46.67 is bottom 5% and applies to his daughters, as cows they are huge top 1% mw top 2% mh with top 10% milk
but...
$F 163 is top 1% for feedlot efficient, they're feedlot champs for growth and feed conversion
cw 92 top 1%
marbling top 1%
$QG top 1% (carcass quality)
$B 218 top 1%

$F is for feedlot selection
$EN is a maternal epd for selecting replacement females
You are completely correct in designating him as a terminal production sire.
