Adult Bangs Vaccination

I have a 15 month old show heifer that did not recieve a bangs vaccination. I have heard about an adult bangs vaccination. Does anyone have any information on it? Thanks, Kacey

I'm in the same boat. We purchased cows that weren't ever vaccinated. They have since calved so we need to start a whole new regime with them!

I went ahead and had the Mature Bangs given to my heifer. As far as I know, it is only done in Washington state. The shot was $8 and I had to pay to have the heifer tested ($30). Instead of 1 tag, she has 2 tags in the right ear. Also, she cannot be transported to another state without consent from the receiving state's head vet.
