I own several head of registerd hereford cattle. the neighbors brahma bull jumped the fence and may have bred two of my cows! How early in the pregnancy can the vet tell if a cow is bred? if they are bred is there something i can do to make them abort?

A shot of Lutalyse (Prostaglandin) about ten days after breeding will cause the cow to abort if she was bred by any bull within the last few months. It's a prescription drug; you will have to get it from your vet. Good luck..
