Abortion cocktail of choice?

Well, Zima was in heat today, 6 months old, so she's going to need to get a shot here, What timing and cocktail works reliably? 2cc estrumate and dex in 3 weeks if she doesn't come back into heat?

I use Lutalyse and Dex for a sure thing and yes, wait 3 weeks minimum.

At that stage Dex shouldn't be necessary. I would give a few days before the 3 weeks so the effect coincides with her coming back in season naturally. You will be on the ball and will note if she cycles as she should.

I was planning on weaning her in a week as I have to bring the herd up to the corrals anyhow to set up my bull for shipping.. dangit! At least I noticed it, would be a shame if such a nice heifer got stunted and preggo
