Abcess/Lump on neck behind jaw

Have a 2 1/2 month old holstein that has developed a lump/bump on his throat behind the jaw. Seems warm and hard but is moveable not fixed to anything. Ideas?

i would talk to your vet.
I would also check in the mouth for a puncture from a stick or stiff stem. Check under the tongue, around the gums

There could be 3 causes that I'm familiar with; 1) broken/bad tooth, 2) as mentioned, stick or thorn, 3) snake bite. Again get the Vet to check it.
