AAA Registering Question

Newbie question for you all. I bought some Bred and Open heifers' from a sale that were registered. What are the steps to getting these cows moved over to my name. I have a membership with the AAA and was working through the site but not sure how to go about doing it. I also have the paperwork from the seller with their registration numbers for the cows. Do i need to send these in with my money to get them transferred over to my name or what? Thanks for the help.

I will look at the paperwork and see. Do they just sign it like a title when you sell a car?

Over here you have to make sure the seller knows you want them transferred and will want to know the name your membership is under and your herd prefix. A lot of sales are to commercial cattlemen/women so transfer won't be required.

If its at a good Angus sale or really even a private sale you will not get a copy of the registration from the seller
The registration papers should come to you very soon afterwards already registered to you.
