I love Holsteins, but I have been looking into different, more rare breeds because I am interested in pasture dairying and also preserving "forgotten" breeds, some of the ones I have looked at are Canadienne and Dutch Belted. However, most of the sites I have found have been breed association-type sites, and say things like "some individuals produce 20,000lbs a year". Does anyone know of a reliable resource where I could find unbiased info on these breeds, particularly milk yields? I've looked at the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy site but didn't really find anything. Thanks.

Thanks, that is a great site, nice little table and everything. Thanks alot
