We have had just a little snow over the last couple days. Last night the power went out at about 9pm, and started flickering back on around 10 am, and finally came on for good again about 1pm. Thank god for wood stoves ;)

Here's what she is like outside. Not too cold though, only about -5C

Everyone on ranchers was talking about the snow storm and all the power outages. Crazy scary, a generator and a wood burning stove are saviors in those conditions. Glad that your power is back on and you all made out somewhat OK through it. :)

Egads, and still February to get thru. Come to think of it, your March is probably as bad or worse than our February!

Our weather has warmed up and all the snow we got between the Christmas Eve blizzard and mid-January has melted. Now we have mud, almost makes you miss the snow and ice. Almost.

When I first saw the pic I thought my computer was messed up. Gee, that looks cold. And I went barefooted today.

Today was clean out day. We had banks as high as 10'. We blew, shovelled and pushed snow.

Cows, impatiently waiting while the blower cleared a path for me in the truck to travel.

The worst was probably this feed bunk. Now, just what is the best way to clean this one out??

Anyone feel like shovelling?

In the end, we pulled the feeder panels out and blew the snow away.
