We sold a cow/calf pair 5-08 to Hudson Pines Farm (daughter & granddaughter out of our flush cow). Later that fall, HPF sold the weaned heifer in their sale.
Here's Holly Parke (Doug Parke's daughter) showing her at National Classic in Indiana - stood 2nd in class. (April yearling)

Thanks! It's so great having our prefix on her & getting her shown at big shows. She'll be in Louisville next week.
She's an Antoinette Star (Dream On son) out of a Simme Valley Macho As U dam.
Here's the dam pictured as a coming two yr old, month prior to calving this heifer:

Oh I remember that cow. I actually like the heifer better than the dam... very functional and stylish.

ditto. I suspect mum would look better, bit more balanced, without the gut full of calf!

True, but also I think the calf is cleaner in the jaw and brisket.

The dam is a REAL easy keeper. HPF loves her & may start flushing her. "Her" dam is our flush cow (in other words, this show heifers granddam).
Thanks for your comments. She's being shown by one of the best families in the breed - lucky me!!!
