Just saw one of my 1st calf heifers letting her own calf AND another calf nurse her at the same time. The two calves were born a couple of days apart and have been buddies since. Like to know if this is pretty normal or kind-of rare. Should I keep her for a nurse just in case I need her later? She's of Angus breeding but I don't think purebred. Thanks!

IF she has lots of milk and keeps condition, AND the thief still nurses his own mother, it's not a problem... Keep an eye that the thief doesn't rob too much from her calf though

Makes sense, thanks!
