A bad day here.....

After being so happy about all our calves hitting the ground, we found our 3 yr old hereford bull dead today. No idea what happened. My son took out a usda loan to buy him and some heifers, so we did have insurance on him-just hope they pay off. I guess the adjuster will come out tomorrow.

Don't know what the insurance requires-will find out today. It's not like we had a huge amt out on him, though. Just enough to cover purchase price.
