My students are typing research papers. Did you know...

Sometimes you shouldn't use the first word spell check comes up with when you have a typos.

Dildo birds are extinct because people liked to eat them.

Had a difficult time convincing the preacher's daughter that it was really a dodo bird. She learned that sometimes your friends get the last laugh if you don't do your own research.

your not wrong there, I heard some real doozies when I was teaching, but the children were a lot younger than 8th grade. If I am thinking right 8th grade is for 13 - 14 year olds. that is our year 9. I taught year 1, so a lot of the answers were expected. some times funny though.
